Export the CSV
Use the workout-history export provided by Hevy or Strong. Keep the source file unchanged.
Hevy + Strong CSV import
Bring supported strength workouts from Hevy or Strong into LIFTL instead of beginning with an empty log. The portal previews the file and lets you review every uncertain exercise match first.
Product facts reviewed

Three deliberate steps
Use the workout-history export provided by Hevy or Strong. Keep the source file unchanged.
The Pro portal auto-detects supported formats and shows workout, set, and date-range counts before writing anything.
Confirm uncertain exercise matches or create custom exercises, then start the import when every item is resolved.
Exercise matching
Exact exercise names match automatically. Anything uncertain stops for review, with suggested catalog matches and the option to create a custom exercise using the correct muscle group and equipment.
The import cannot begin until every unmatched exercise is resolved, so history does not land under a random movement.

Current field map
LIFTL imports the strength-training fields it can map reliably. It does not pretend unsupported source data survived the move.

Not importedCardio-only rows and superset grouping are not currently written
Not importedStrong does not include a unit marker in its CSV. The current importer treats Strong weight values as pounds. If your Strong history is recorded in kilograms, contact LIFTL support before importing.
Hevy CSV
Named strength workouts, their start and end times, exercise names, normal and warmup sets, pounds, reps, and RPE when supplied.
Cardio-only distance or duration rows and superset grouping are currently skipped.
Strong CSV
Named strength workouts, timestamps, exercise names, normal and warmup sets, weight values, reps, and RPE when supplied.
Because the export has no unit column, confirm the current pound-only handling before importing metric history.

Import FAQ
Yes. LIFTL Pro can import supported strength-training history from a Hevy or Strong CSV through the web portal.
For supported strength sets, LIFTL imports the workout date and name, exercise, set order, weight, reps, RPE when present, and warmup status. Hevy session end times are used when available.
The importer pauses for review. You can map the source exercise to an existing LIFTL exercise or create a custom exercise with a muscle group and equipment type before continuing.
Not currently. Imported sets do not arrive with existing PR flags, source notes are not written, and Hevy cardio-only rows and superset grouping are not imported.
Strong CSV files do not include a unit column. The current importer reads Strong weight values as pounds, so contact LIFTL support before importing a Strong history recorded in kilograms.
The importer does not currently de-duplicate repeated uploads. Import each history range once to avoid duplicate workouts.
Yes. Importing from another app is a Pro feature available in the LIFTL web portal.
Contact LIFTL support and tell us which app you use. We are actively expanding import support and can review the export format, but we cannot promise immediate compatibility with every app or file.
